Challenge
This project required rebranding an organisation of my choice. I chose NHS Wales Mental Health, which faces challenges such as long waiting times, limited accessibility and slow digital adoption.
The brief was to modernise its identity and create a system that feels more approachable, compassionate and digitally engaged.
Goal
To develop a fresh identity and digital-first strategy that improves awareness, accessibility and empowerment across mental health services. This included a new logo, clear messaging, visual tools and digital resources such as an app, bilingual brochures and community platforms.
Outcome
I created Piece of Mind, a rebranded identity built around themes of connection and support.
The outcome included a new logo, visual system, mood-tracking app, bilingual brochures and an online community forum. Together, these deliverables position NHS Wales Mental Health as a more inclusive, forward-thinking and user-centred service.

An outline of NHS Wales’ mission, vision and values, focused on making mental health services more accessible, innovative and compassionate.

The Piece of Mind identity reflects connection and support through a puzzle-brain logo paired with the strapline “Modernising Mental Health for the Ones We Love.”

A suite of digital and print mockups demonstrating how the rebrand translates into real-world applications from a mood-tracking app and community forum to public billboards and informational leaflets.

The Piece of Mind narrative positions the rebrand as modern, compassionate and user-centred, combining research insights with creative outcomes to make mental health support more accessible and human.
